Genshin Impact: How To Unlock The Lost Valley Domain – GameRant

To unlock the Lost Valley domain in Genshin Impact, players will need to place a Geo Construct somewhere near its entrance.
The Lost Valley domain in Genshin Impact is the home of two new Genshin Impact Artifacts. One is potentially amazing for Xiao, while the other is likely the best-in-slot Artifact for Kamisato Ayato. Before players can start farming this domain, however, they'll first need to find the entrance.
The Lost Valley is located somewhere in The Chasm. This new Liyue area comes with several new mechanics. As it is located in the nation of Geo, the puzzle it contains will revolve around this Element. To unlock the Lost Valley in Genshin Impact, players have to ensure they have a character that can deploy a Geo Construct in their team.

Updated May 10, 2022, by Nahda Nabiilah: Farming the Lost Valley domain in Genshin Impact doesn't only have to be done for the sake of its users like Kamisato Ayato or Xiao. Thanks to its universally-useful 2-pieces effect, many Travelers decide to farm this domain even though they don't have the two aforementioned characters. After unlocking the new Artifact domain, players have to face the enemies inside before they can claim the available loot. To help ease this task, this guide has been updated to include the full breakdown of the opponents inside.
To unlock the Lost Valley domain in Genshin Impact, players must first look for the entrance in Fuao Vale. They'll need to find a Unique Rock south of the domain (it’s a large rock marked with a Geo symbol). There will be an Ancient Stone Tablet marking the spot.
In front of the Ancient Stone Tablet, there will be a Pressure Plate. Players should place a Geo Construct on top of it. Next, they can either run to the source of the resonance or follow the Wind Ring which will be triggered by the Pressure Plate.
After reaching the large rock surrounded by yellow mist, players simply need to hit it with Geo, Claymore, or explosion to trigger the Geo wave.
After doing so, they should go back to the Stone Tablet and watch the Unique Rock being destroyed by the Geo resonance (Geo wave).
A cutscene will then be triggered, and a small gap will open in the mountain.
Players can enter the opening and walk a little until the domain fully comes into view. After unlocking the Lost Valley domain in Genshin Impact, Travelers should fall down to the air current. Nearby, they'll be greeted with a Luxurious Chest.
To help ease players' task in the Genshin Impact Lost Valley domain, they can learn the following information from this section:
Like typical domains, the Lost Valley hosts different enemies on different levels. All of them contain monsters from the Automaton family.
Even though the Leyline Disorder for the Lost Valley domain in Genshin Impact supports characters that often cast their Elemental Skills, this bonus can be ignored overall. Instead, players will want to focus on a typical brute force team that deals Elemental damage. It is not recommended to use Physical units as the Automaton family has a high Physical resistance.
Usually, players don't get to use a character that requires the domain rewards to fight in it. For example, people can't use Hu Tao to farm Crimson Witch of Flames or Raiden Shogun in the Emblem of Severed Fate domain. However, for the Lost Valley domain, players can happily use Kamisato Ayato or Xiao. Both units deal Elemental damage, so they won't be obstructed by Physical resistance.
If players are having a hard time fighting the Ruin Grader, they can consider bringing a Bow character. When this enemy reveals the core on its knee, shooting it will stagger the robot. Afterward, players can quickly aim at its eyes to deactivate it.
The Lost Valley in Genshin Impact is a new Artifacts domain in The Chasm. It holds two new Artifacts; Echoes of an Offering and Vermillion Hereafter. Other than that, it may also grant the 4-star artifacts, Martial Artist and Gambler.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
