Destroy All Humans! Multiplayer DLC Reportedly Leaked – Screen Rant

A Destroy All Humans! multiplayer game, titled Clone Carnage, will apparently let players team up and take over the world in a variety of modes.
A standalone Destroy All Humans! project will introduce multiplayer to the open-world sci-fi series, according to leaks. The franchise’s first installment launched back in 2005, and this alien invasion simulator received a modern remake that released in 2020. A Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed trailer reveals that the series’ second entry will soon receive its own remake, but a standalone multiplayer DLC has seemingly leaked too.
Both the original Destroy All Humans!, and its 2020 remake follow extraterrestrial protagonist Crypto on a quest to study human brain stems and rescue a fellow alien from the U.S. government. Destroy All Humans lets players explore and destroy an open-world 1950s American town, and combat is carried out using both alien weaponry and a variety of sci-fi abilities. An advanced physics engine lets Crypto wreak havoc across the Cold War setting using electric guns, a jet pack, a flying saucer, PsychoKinesis powers and more. The Destroy All Humans! remake added new content, including a cut mission called “The Wrong Stuff,” but in general the 2020 title is a faithful recreation of the original.

As reported by Push Square (via ResetEra), a new Destroy All Humans! standalone game titled Clone Carnage recently leaked on the Xbox Store. This multiplayer title will apparently let up to four players compete in unique game modes titled Rampage, Armageddon, Race and Abduction. Character customization seems to be a key feature, too, with each player adding cosmetics to their unique Crypto clone. While the Xbox Store page for Destroy All Humans! – Clone Carnage has been removed, a list of achievements can be found on TrueAchievements. These achievements tease the presence of both online and local multiplayer modes and hint at the objectives of each mode.
While remakes of Destroy All Humans! classics are exciting, adding brand-new content to the beloved open-world franchise can really pique the interest of fans. 2020’s Destroy All Humans! brought the “Wrong Stuff” mission back into the game, demonstrating Black Forest Games’ ability to make dramatic changes to the games. In a similar vein, it seems likely that Destroy All Humans! – Clone Carnage may be released as a brand-new multiplayer section of Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed. However, the multiplayer title could also be a standalone release unrelated to the sequel remake.
Based on leaks, Destroy All Humans! – Clone Carnage will put a unique spin on Crypto’s alien invasion efforts. Game modes will task players with abducting humans, flying UFOs and generally spreading chaos, and up to four players will be able to work together to conquer Earth. The project has not been officially revealed, however, so only time will tell whether Destroy All Humans! actually receives a multiplayer experience.
