Head coach of the Cairns Taipans Adam Forde says he'd have no qualms keeping a player out of games if he sensed they were overly stressed or depressed, even if the player objects.
The coach says mental health and wellbeing are crucial to good performance for his players but more importantly, for their lives away from the court.
He explained to ABC regional Queensland presenter Phil Staley how his players are required to report daily on health and well being.
