The Black Eagles will join the Australian International Airshow and Aerospace Defence Exposition scheduled from 28 February to 5 March 2023 at Avalon Airport in Geelong, Victoria.
According to several Asian news outlets, the visit will foster military diplomacy and promote Korean-made aircraft.
Koreas armed services had reportedly considered sending the team of 12 pilots and eight T-50B supersonic trainer jets to Avalon last year, but the show was canceled because of COVID-19.
Korea and Australia recently stepped up security cooperation, with the two countries’ air forces signing an arrangement to cooperate in air-to-air refuelling.
Black Eagles performed at the Royal International Air Tattoo in England in July, as well as appearances in Poland, Egypt (above) and the Philippines this year.
