Destiny 2: Season Of Plunder Sails Of The Shipstealer Week 5 Story … – GameRant

Previous weeks of Season 18 in Destiny 2 have been building up to a reveal, and here is how players can see it happen.
After a lot of lead up over the past four weeks, the story of Season 18 in Destiny 2 finally provides players with a payoff in the form of a big reveal. While the big reveal was unfortunately leaked through data-mining early on in the season, players are now able to experience it in game.

In spite of the big story moment, the story quest for Week 5 follows the usual and predictable seasonal content flow for Destiny 2. This guide will show players how to complete the story quest for Week 5 and see the big reveal for themselves.
Of course, the usual first step of any weekly story quest for this season is to go to the H.E.L.M. and use the Star Chart. There, Destiny 2 players get a message from Mithrax informing them that Eido is attempting to parley with Eramis.
Before the parley starts, Destiny 2 players will continue the hunt for the next relic. Once Mithrax is done talking, players will get the next step of the quest which was originally a very time-consuming one.
As ever, Destiny 2 players will need to restore a map with Map Fragments and Treasure Coordinates. Once they have a map restored, players will need to use it to dig up a buried treasure chest and loot it. When this quest initially came out, there was a step that required players to kill 50 Champions.
Bonus progress was awarded for completing Ketchcrash on Master difficulty. However, since not many players do non-match made activities like Master Ketchcrash, this step is now auto-completed for all players. The alternative was grinding Champions in Legendary Lost Sectors or Nightfalls, which took several hours.
After completing the previous step, Destiny 2 players will be able to access the next Pirate Hideout. There are no Champions, but players will want to be above 1570 Power. The only gimmick that the boss has is that he throws a bunch of adds (additional enemies) at players. Having a good add clear weapon like a Machine Gun or Osteo Striga is a good strategy.

After beating the boss, Destiny 2 players will be able to loot the next relic while Eido finally gets a response from Eramis who accepts the request to parley. Once the mission timer expires, Destiny 2 players will be transported to a different area as opposed to going to Orbit.
Once they load in to the new area, Destiny 2 players can simply stand there and watch the conversation between Eramis, Mithrax, and Eido. Eido tells Eramis about the other party hunting the relics, and though this piques Eramis's interest it isn't enough to get her to abandon her hunt for the relics on behalf of the Witness.
The conversation turns south quickly and Eramis reveals that she knows all about Mithrax and his past. At that point, a cutscene will play for Destiny 2 players.
Once the cutscene is over, the parley ends with nothing accomplished beyond causing a rift between Mithrax and Eido. All players can do is just return to the Eliksni Quarter and use the Holoprojector outside the Ether Tank.
Destiny 2 players get a message from Eido as she reflects on the truth about her Father and how hurt she feels by how much he tried to shut her out. The story quest for Week 5 ends when players go into the Ether Tank to claim an Engram from Spider.
Destiny 2 is now available for Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
