Sally had a shot at $250,000 at a Cairns Taipans’ game in Australia over the weekend. It didn’t go well. There are a lot of ways to attempt a half-court shot, but this attempt didn’t even travel five feet.
Being Australia there’s only one appropriate punishment for failure: A visit from a nightmare snake.

Wikipedia tells you just how terrifying these things are.
They are large, fast-moving, highly venomous, and endemic to Australasia. There are currently three recognized species, one of which, the coastal taipan, has two subspecies. The taipans are considered some of the most deadly known snakes.
Sorry Sally, you know the rules: Miss a shot, get a snake visit.
